Keoki’s Paradise is an open air restaurant and one of the islands popular destinations for tourists. It's themed like a big tiki hut or tiki bar inside and with the open air layout and waterfalls going it just has a great vibe to it. It's a very obvious fake and man-made feel but it works here.

Lunch and dinner are served here and it's a big place so should be able to handle plenty of people easily. Kids are sure to enjoy the ponds and waterfalls so a good family friendly option all around.

The menu offers various sandwiches, burgers, salads as well as seafood and steak entrees. I started out with the Kalua Pork Spring Rolls ($8.95) for an appetizer which included two large rolls cut in half (4 pieces total) in a sweet and sour type sauce. They were a little on the greasy side since they are deep fried but still very good.

For my main course I felt like a good burger so tried their Rancher's Burger ($15.95) which comes with bacon, swiss cheese, caramelized onions, and an aioli sauce. The burger itself was cooked fine by the bacon was half cooked in parts and almost raw in others and had no flavor at all. I ended up removing the bacon to be safe.

The burger meat tasted good and fresh but lacked a ton of flavor, as though they don't season it at all. The swiss had no flavor so it would have been better with some other cheese. The aioli was okay but also surprisingly bland. It was a situation where I could tell this was a good quality food item but just wish it had more flavor.

The service here was excellent and our waitress, Kiana, was super friendly and recommend we try the plantation iced tea ($3.25) which was really tasty (though refills seemed to be regular iced tea). Overall it was a very pleasant experience and good and relaxing place to be and I'd eat here again, though wouldn't get the burger again.

The only other complaint I have is the prices which seem a bit high even for Kauai. $16 for a burger? I have no problem with that when it's a really flavorful burger. We'll be back and see how it goes with some other items.
