So you just got married and need a place to honeymoon. Or maybe it's a big anniversary trip or time to renew those wedding vows. Either way, you need a proper hotel or resort to stay at on Oahu. Here's a list, in no particular order, of great honeymoon friendly resorts on Oahu, Hawaii. There's something for everyone here.
The Pink Palace, Royal Hawaiian, or even "that pink place". Whatever you call it, this is a classic and classy place to have a honeymoon or anniversary. The hotel itself is world famous but so is the onsite Mai Tai Bar that you'll want to get intimately familiar with. This place oozes with the class and charm of old Hawaii while still placing you in the middle of modern day Waikiki. More at: The Royal Hawaiian, a Luxury Collection Resort
If you're looking for high end luxury in the middle of Waikiki then this is your hotel. They offer the ultimate in luxury along with onsite fine dining for those who like to get dressed up to enjoy a formal dinner. More at: Halekulani Hotel
Like or dislike The Donald? It doesn't really matter here because Trump Waikiki is not owned, developed, or sold by Donald Trump, The Trump Organization, or any of their affiliates. Instead, appreciate this hotel for what it is which is a gorgeous property with some beautifully crafted hotel and condo style units. It has a great location near the Waikiki Beach Walk and is just across the street from Fort DeRussy Beach Park @ Waikiki. More at: Trump International Hotel Waikiki Beach Walk
Stay and play where the rich and famous do, here at the luxurious Kahala Resort. Located far enough from Waikiki that you won't lose your mind in the madness but close enough that you can drive in to Waikiki easily. More at: The Kahala Hotel & Resort
The much anticipated Four Seasons Resort at Ko Olina finally opens it's doors in May of 2016 and it's sure to be worth the wait. It's located right on gorgeous Ko Olina Lagoon 1 (Kahola Lagoon) along with Aulani A Disney Resort And Spa but the Four Seasons property should be far more "couple friendly" than Mickey's House of Madness. Looking for something smaller, slower, and more secluded? That's not easy to find on busy Oahu but the Paradise Bay Resort checks all of those boxes and more. This is a great resort for couples on a honeymoon, anniversary, or much needed trip away from the crowds. It's all about service and good times here. More at: Paradise Bay Resort
Love that young, hip vibe? Then The Modern is your hotel for sure. This place won't be free of children but it's largely populated by a younger and more active crowd. More at: The Modern Honolulu
Looking for a place to honeymoon that's a bit more family friendly? The Moana Surfrider is a Westin Resort and caters to couples and families alike. This is a classic Waikiki resort that originally opened its doors back in 1901. If things get too hectic, enjoy a couple massage at their onsite spa, which is Waikiki's first and only beachfront spa.
