Wailupe Beach Park is a good place to hang out and relax, take some photos, or even do a little fishing. It doesn't have any sandy beach and the waterline is very rocky so this isn't a swimming beach. The water is often muddy and murky as well so even if you could get in you likely wouldn't want to.
The scenery here is interesting, with higher tides creating interesting visuals with rocks sticking out of the water. At low tide the muddy ocean bottom is exposed and it's far less interesting.
The park facilities here are pretty decent and include a small grassy area, picnic tables and benches, a shower, garbage cans, and a bathroom. There are even some trees that provide shade.
