Diamond Head Beach Park, which is also called Kuilei Cliffs Beach Park, is located right to the south of Diamond Head State Monument. You'll likely find a decent amount of parking options along the south (ocean) side of Diamond Head Road.

Then get ready for a short hike down to the ocean on a paved path that will switchback down the mountainside. It's fairly steep so if you aren't in good condition and aren't able to handle a relatively short hike then this may not be the beach for you.

Once at the bottom you'll find over a half mile long stretch of sandy beach. A lot of the water areas are a bit rocky on the bottom so it's not the best beach for playing in the water but there are some less rocky areas that are fairly easy to spot so you can get wet.

There is a good surf spot out here so it is a good place to watch some surfing, or to join in if you are more advanced than a beginner. There aren't any facilities here beyond a shower and drinking fountain. That also means there is no lifeguard so swim at your own risk.

There are some amazing views up at the road level and sea level as well as spots in between. On that note, Diamond Head Lighthouse is located here, near the road level, at the far west end of the beach area as well.
