Kauhale Makai is Hawaiian for "Village by the Sea" and vacation rentals at Kauhale Makai are in two six story buildings with a total of 168 units. There are approximately 110 one bedroom units, 48 two bedroom units and several studios.
The complex has two pools (one adult and one children's pool), hot tub, gas BBQ area, putting green, volleyball court, sauna and two shuffle boards. Public tennis courts are also adjacent to the Kauhale Makai condos.
