Aloha Thai Food is a food truck in Haleiwa that serves up some pretty tasty Thai food. I'm not Thai food expert but I really enjoyed what I ate here. The Pad Thai Chicken was my favorite with excellent noodles and is probably a good choice if you don't eat a lot of Thai food.
The Chicken Larb was also quite tasty and flavorful. It's sort of like chicken lettuce wraps and got even better with hot sauce on it. The other dish I tried was the Red Curry with chicken. It was quite good with a nice coconut flavor in the curry sauce. Good, but the other two dishes I had were far superior.
The prices here seem fairly reasonable to me with a dish like the Pad Thai Chicken going for $9 or so. Toss in a canned beverage or bottle of water and you could be out the door for under $12 easily. Not a massive deal, but more than fair to me.
The only negative issue I have is with all of the flies. I've seen worse with other trucks around this area, but it was still annoying with several flies all over the place. Would be nice if something was done about that. Of course, you could just get your food and go eat it in your car or some other place and avoid the fly issue completely.
