If you're brave enough to hike the Kalalau Trail, after a couple of miles and hours you'll land at Hanakapi'ai Beach. If you have it in you to hike another two miles (one way) which is likely to take another two hours you can head inland and will come across Hanakapi'ai Falls.

Expect many stream crossings and to be covered in mud by the time you're done. Like anything along the Kalalau Trail, preparation is key so be sure to first ready Hiking Safety & Essentials. Bring plenty of water as drinking from streams is not safe and they may contain Leptospirosis.

The elevation gain from sea level to the falls is over 750 feet so this is a pretty serious hike. Those who do make it will be rewarded with a large (over 300 foot tall) waterfall at the end.
