Keawakapu Beach is located on South Kihei road, in Kihei in the south Maui area, and is the next beach after Kamaole Beach Park III and Kama'ole Harbor. There is a large, puclic parking lot here so turn in to the entrance that is just south of the Mana Kai Maui sign and entrance street.
At the north end of Keawakapu Beach is the Mana Kai Maui and Days Inn Maui Oceanfront so it's a great beach if you are staying at these hotels since you can walk right from your hotel to the beach in just a few steps.
The Mana Kai Maui has equipment rentals as well. Guests at the Kihei Surfside Resort have a very short walk to the sandy beach too.
This is a decent size beach and while it will get plenty of visitors from the nearby hotels it isn't likely to really be overly crowded. A lot of people don't even know there is a beach here and most who come to this area will end up at Kamaole Beach Park III instead.
It has a nice resort feel to it but is a really great beach overall and one we recommend.
