Kaiaka Bay Beach Park is a huge park located on the north shore near the main touristy area of Haleiwa. It has a very large grassy area (a lot of it being dirt though) and you can camp here with a permit.

Note that the main gates are locked at 6:45 pm so you would get locked in if you are camping, or at least your car would get locked in.

The bathrooms here were actually very clean and even had Hawaiian music playing in them. Fancy! Showers are located inside of the bathroom building as well.

While it does have a sandy beach area it really isn't all that great. A lot of it is very rocky at the shore line and under the water. There are some spots where you can get in the water further east along the beach (where it will eventually become Haleiwa Army Beach).

There is water on the west side of the park as well and this is a good spot to go fishing but there is no water access because it's very rocky here. Even if there was, you wouldn't want to swim in this (or any) dark and very murky water which carries a lot of runoff water from streams into the ocean.
