Kahuwai Beach is another beach that is near to Four Seasons Resort Hualalai at Historic Ka'upulehu. You will need to stop at the guard shack and ask for a public pass. There is a north and south parking lot. There is about a 10 to 15 minute walk to the beach.
This beach is a great place to see green sea turtles. Swimming is not possible due to the strong currents.
Snorkeling and scuba diving should only be done here if you are experienced.
Wading is the best thing to do here.
There is plenty of shade from coconut trees.
