Alula Beach is a secluded cove that is located at the west end of Honokohau Marina & Small Boat Harbor. It is part of Kaloko-Honokohau National Historical Park. If the water is calm there might be some good snorkeling here. The beach itself is a nice crescent shape but overall not that impressive and pretty reefy all around.

You'll sometimes spot kayakers launching from here. Also note that it is likely to be a mostly local crowd hanging out here and maybe not what you'd call a family friendly spot based on what they're up to at the time.
